In 2012, the idea for Faxes was started with a 200 dollar laptop and a bootleg copy of FL Studio by Perry Edling in Nashville TN. Perry Edling then revisited the idea in 2013 after acquiring better equipment and software. The project was originally meant to be nothing more than a combination of melodic guitar and light elements of dubstep. It has since evolved into a hybrid of electronic genres. ... more
